Kippasuo PuttiNolla
PuttiNolla is a disc golf game created by the Heinola-based LDG association, where players play tic-tac-toe by putting with disc golf discs.
PuttiNolla at Kippis
Want to play tic-tac-toe with disc golf discs? Now you can — at Heinola’s Kippis, home to the world’s first permanent PuttiNolla setup, located in the brand-new Heinola DiscGolfPark World.
This kind of setup has never been seen before in Europe, and even in the U.S., it has only existed as a theme park version ("Disc-Tac-Toe"). But in Heinola’s disc golf world, it’s been done properly - for real.
The basic idea of PuttiNolla:
- PuttiNolla is a two-player game where the winner is the first to form a straight line of three ‘claimed baskets’.
- Three in a row can be formed in three directions: horizontal, vertical, or diagonal.
- A basket is claimed by the player who lands their disc in it first, and once claimed, it remains under that player’s control until the end of the game.
- Players take turns throwing one disc at a time until the game ends with either three in a row or a tied draw.
- Before the game begins: -Decide whether to throw from the 5, 10, or 15 meter tee positions -Determine who goes first — using any method of your choice
