Heinola Open for 30 years
Heinola Open has been held over 20 times since it began in the late 1990s. The event’s size and format have varied over the years, and in 2026 it is the largest international disc golf event held in Finland.

Heinola Open 2026
A DGPT Elite-level event will be held from Friday, July 10 to Sunday, July 12 at the Kippis Championship course in Heinola.
The event is organized by the Heinola-based disc golf club Lords of DiscGolf ry, founded in 2001, in cooperation with the Disc Golf Pro Tour.

Tickets for spectators
The event can only be attended with a paid ticket, which DGPT sells through its service (click the heading above). As an exception, on Friday, July 10, you can access the event center for free, and general viewing areas are available by registering for a €0 General Access ticket.

Arrival instructions
Everyone should drive their cars to the racetrack at Mustanportinkatu 1, Heinola. Parking is included in the purchased spectator ticket. Players can enter with their player pass.
Only the 10 cars designated by Ford and the vendors’ vans are allowed to drive to the Kippis parking area at Kippasuonväylä 30.

Café
The Kippis Café serves throughout the entire event. Refreshments, sweet treats, and savory snacks are available. From the grill, enjoy Makkara-Make’s tasty sausages, with or without a bun!

Three food trucks will be at the event center, so you’re guaranteed to get something delicious to keep you going while watching top-level disc golf all day.

A sales area will be set up at the heart of the event center, where you’ll find a wide range of products such as disc golf equipment and gear, clothing, footwear, and much more!
Course
The Kippis Championship course is a top-level competitive layout designed to be extremely challenging, combining elements from Kippis’s different courses.
A round of the course takes about 3.5 hours, and you’ll walk a little over 7 kilometers.

The courses cannot be played during the competition week if you're not one of the event's players or volunteers.
You can play the course through paid public rounds by booking a suitable tee time via the Disc Times app. The opening of bookings will be announced separately.
